Eric Mauck

Born and raised in Sherman, TX, Eric Mauck had one goal in life: to make people laugh. Coming from a humble beginning, the only entertainment he had was hanging out with his brother, Jared. He created skits and comedy routines for family and friends, and perfected the art of making fun of everything other for sport.

Eric left Sherman in 1994 to attend a small private college in Delaware where he was the undeniable "class clown". Paying homage to his favorite show (SNL), he developed jokes, characters and skits that had the whole student body in stitches. In 2002 he hosted a Public Access TV show and in 2004 co-hosted a talk radio program in Gloversville, New York. Eric moved back to Texas with His wife Jennifer in 2005, and in 2010 began performing his stand-up routines at a variety of local clubs. Eric is also launching Big Hat Dance productions with business partner Rebekah Rounds and hopes to release their first independent film in late 2011.


Mauck Talk is the culmination of Eric's passion for comedy, entertainment and the desire to dole out razor-sharp observations on everything from the latest political gaffes, to sports, to the audacity of Justin Bieber's hair...and everything in-between
