THE MELLOW MADNESS SHOW IS THE INTERNET RADIO INNOVATION OF GREGORY “DADDY G” JOHNSON. THE MELLOW MADNESS SHOW OFFERS MATURED ADULT, GROWN FOLKS MUSIC WITH INTERESTING TOPICS WHICH ARE ALL CENTERED AROUND R&B MUSIC FROM THE 70’S TO TODAY, WITH ARTISTS SUCH AS (AL GREEN, TEDDY PENDERGRASS, ARETHA FRANKLIN, ANTHONY HAMILTON AND OTHERS). DADDY G’s ENTERTAINING PERSONALITY SETS THE MOOD FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO RELAX WHILE LISTENING TO THE SHOW AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK, OR JUST CHILLING AMONGST FRIENDS.
Daddy G, is a retired military veteran who served his country proudly for 20 years. He’s been in the Dallas , TX area for 8 years, but Columbus , GA is where he hails from. He’s been a music lover since his early childhood, listening to a broad range of music that his parents played around their home. He was the neighborhood DJ during his high school years, working parties at the local recreation center. Upon entering the military in 1975, he continued to work on his craft and used them in the various places he was stationed in the US and overseas until his retirement in 1995, in Colorado Springs , Colorado.
Since retiring, Daddy G has worked numerous years with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, in Georgia , Louisiana , and Texas . He worked in the classroom for Dallas County Alternative Education Program until October 2008. He’s currently retired but stays busy with volunteer projects in the greater Dallas area. He continues to show love and appreciation for his first love…music.
