“The Rob Lyles Texas Music Road Show”Join Texan Rob Lyles as he travels the back roads of the Lone Star State playing the music that Texans love to hear. Pull on your boots and ride along with him as he tunes in the internet dial to the biggest hits in Texas music and provides you a weekly road map to events throughout the entire Lone Star State. He will program the on board GPS to take you back stage for an all access behind-the-scenes look at some of the coolest shows in the state and don’t be surprised when he pulls over at an a occasional rest stop to hangout with todays hottest Texas stars.
Even though Rob’s show business career started over 20 years ago in television, he has always had a dream to have his own Texas radio show. He developed a love for live Texas music while spending the last 15 years wandering across the Great State of Texas working the production side of the outdoor concert industry. He has also produced international award winning videos, managed the production of numerous theatrical productions, and has handled the logistics for hundreds of shows throughout the Lone Star State. He now considers himself a mastermind of last minute logistical challenges!
He currently serves as the Texas Area Operations Manager for an international stage rental company. As the Texas Operations Manager he is responsible for the delivery of quality services; the planning, implementation, and coordination of show logistics; and managing a large fleet of mobile hydraulic stages. Some of his biggest, most successful accomplishments is the development of a Certified Mobile Stage Operator Program and an improved social media marketing strategy. Both of these programs have successfully improved brand awareness and elevated the Texas area to the third busiest mobile stage rental market in the United States…..right behind Chicago and New York!
During his few hours of time off each year, he enjoys photography, driving 18 wheelers throughout the back roads of Texas, cooking tasty meals for his family and friends and most of all spending time with his best friend…..which by-the-way, he has been married to for almost 30 years.
