Donald" Spider" Willis has been covering sports since the early 90's as a freelance correspondent for several print media outlets in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His passion for sports begun at an early age and got serious in high school where he played basketball and continue after college. For 15 years he played Pro-Am and amateur basketball throughout Texas. He travels the country as a fan watching everything from high school sports to professional sports.
His break in radio came by calling in at one of the local radio station in Dallas. The producer of the show ask him to come in as a guest and he stayed about a month learning the in and outs of talk radio.
After that one month stay he became the producer of "The Carmen Pagano Show" on KKDA for a year where he became her co-host.
While at KKDA he became the official co-host of "Talking Sports" w/Roger B.Brown where he covered the NBA, NFL, NCAA and other special events. Spider has also covered NBA All-Star games between 1995-2001 where he interviewed celebertieis, former NBA legends, media personalities and executives.
He his currently a media consultant for Drexel Media Group a PR/marketing firm that has several clients in the United States. He spends his weekends going to sporting events and recently partner with two investors to open an Interior Design company.
